What is ACTIVATE Your Life?

  • ACTIVATE Your Life isn’t just another fitness boot camp; it’s a one-month journey to improve your overall health and wellness! Members will participate in two weekly group workouts and two weekly at home workouts (with short instructional videos). Each month will feature a different signature workout based on a character trait we want to call out in our lives (Strength, Courage, Adventurousness, etc.) and will be performed each week so progress can be tracked and results celebrated. Additionally, members will receive our awesome nutrition tips, healthy recipe ideas, and access to a closed social media support/accountability group.

I’m can’t attend the group sessions, can I still participate?

  • Yes! We are also offering a virtual version of ACTIVATE Your Life. Instead of two weekly group workouts and two weekly at home workouts (with short instructional videos), virtual members will receive four weekly at home workouts (with short instructional videos). Both groups will still receive our awesome nutrition tips, healthy recipe ideas, and access to a closed social media support/accountability group.

Who is leading the group workouts?

  • Katie Christy is CrossFit Level 1 Certified, TRX Level 2 Certified Trainer, Iron Woman, and Ultra-marathoner. Her infectious personality and relentless spirit help drive others towards greatness.
  • Lara Chase is CrossFit Level 1 Certified, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation, and Doctor of Physical Therapy. Her passion for helping people live an active, healthy lifestyle inspires others to push themselves.

Where are the workouts held?

What time are the workouts?

  • The group workouts will be held at 9 am on Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Do you have any alternate sessions available?

  • If Wednesday and Friday morning at 9 am don’t work with your schedule, contact us and suggest a time/location. Our minimum class size is 8, so if there is enough interest we will add sessions. Activate Your Talent is flexible and willing to work with your needs!

What type of workout should I expect?

  • Functional fitness circuit training. Workouts vary and expose participants to a wide variety of functional fitness exercises including body weight exercises, agility drills, Hyperwear Steelbells, TRX, battle ropes, kettle bells, and medicine balls. We like to have fun working out, so expect plenty of fitness challenges, great music, and camaraderie. We will push each other to workout at our maximum capacities (every workout is adjusted based on an individual’s current fitness levels). Our trainers will work with you to set and achieve goals. How much does ACTIVATE Your Life cost?

  • During our introductory session, we are offering our clients a discounted rate of $49 per month. Additionally, for every friend you refer we will give you a discount of $5- no limits so if you refer 10 friends, you work out for free!
  • If you choose to participate in the virtual version, the introductory rate is $9.99 per month.

I’m not 100% sure ACTIVATE Your Life is right for me, can I try out a class?

  • We are confident that you will love our program, so we are happy to offer you a workout with us at no cost of obligation. Just E-mail us and let us know when you are coming so we can be prepared!
  • We are offering free group sessions Tuesday, September 15th and Wednesday, September 23rd at 8:30 am at May Street Bicycle Shop (1010 N. May Street, Southern Pines, NC 28387). We would love to meet you and give you a demonstration of our style of workout!
